Minelab M9 Coil cover

Protects your M9 Search Coil from wear and tear and extends its life. Suitable for the Minelab Manticore M9 search head, the smaller, round accessory search head on the Minelab Manticore metal detector.

A Coil Cover or Skidplate is a sacrificial part to be placed on the base of the coil during use. This is so scuffs and scrapes are inflicted in this cheaper, replaceable part instead of the more expensive coil itself. Once worn out, the cover may be replaced by a fresh one to keep your coil in good working condition. We recommend removing the coil cover for cleaning, as dirt and sand can get trapped inside it. Mineralised dirt may cause interference to your detecting.
